Job Description

Main duties/ Responsibilities 

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability in the designated area or the plant whilst meeting safety, health, environmental and financial targets.
• Enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate the mechanical maintenance plan.
• Collaborate with planning department to ensure suitable parts; labour and equipment are available to deliver the maintenance plan.
• Ensure inspection results and actions are taken to deliver reliability targets.
• coordinate deployment of labour, parts and equipment resources.
• manage the section mechanical team concerning productivity, motivations and discipline.
• monitor performance of own staff and contractors and ensure jobs proceeding to plan.
• Supervise the carrying out of preventative maintenance inspections.
